Dear flember of Txeoutive Committee of Xy.Equel Rights fissociation,

I am
happy to report that all members of the 1x.Com. voted in the affirmative
(firs.Roebuck unheard from) to put the co—guerdienship bill in the hands
of the Covington clubs , if they would accept it; the bill for women on
Boerfls of Control of state institutions in the hanfls of the sub-committee
from the Fayette 7.3.i., if it toulu accept it. The ‘ayette sub—committee
accepted then informefl of the vote of the Ex.Com.; ené this morning I
learn that the Covington clubs have accented eni gone to work on the co-
guardienship bill. The Fayette 7-?.A. sflb—committee has also been at work.

You will see by the Herald of Jan.9th thich I have mailed to each of you
at a distance that a very successful mass meeting was helfl by the women
of lexington, under the auspices of the 'omen's Club in favor of school
suffrnge for women. These three hills, therefore, are aavantegeously
placed.

E am still in a quenfiery, however, that to efivise about the work of
the 1x.Com., in its quality as legislative Committee. In answer to my
inquiry what time each could give to this work, firs.€lay replies she can
give as much as necessary; Hrs.Roark, says“, If particularly neefied, I
can go to Frankfort, but prefer to give my time mainly for school suf-
