ARTICLE 1,—NAME.

This Association shall be known as the Kentucky
Woman Sufilag‘e Association.

ARTICLE IL—OBJ 15 CT.

lts object shall be to concentrate the etlorts of
all the advocates of \Voman Sufii‘arre in Kentucky.

ARTICLE III—ORGANIZATION.

SECT. I. The ofiicers of this Association shall be
a President Vice President, Chairman of the Exec-
utixe Committee, Coirespoiidin<4 Sec1‘etar3, Record-
in<4 Secretar3, and lrez 1s111‘c1, all of whom shall be
we oflzczo members of the Executiv 0 Committee.

dent of this Association.

SECT. 3. Eve1‘3' Chairman of tl‘e Executive Com-
mittee 01 an auxiliar3 District or County Societ3
shall be ex oflzcio a membe1 ot the Executive Coni-
mittee of this Association.

SECT. 4. In cases Where no auxiliary District or
Count3 Association exists, 21 sultable person ma3 be
selected 113 the annual meeting) 01 bv the Executixe
Committee, as Vice President or member of“ the EX-
‘ ecutive Committee from said Disrrict or County, to
serve until the organization of said District or Coun-
ty Association,

SECT. 5. The Executive Committee may fill all
vacancies that may occur prior to the next annual
meeting.

 

 SEC'r. 6. All othcers shall be elected annually at
an annual meeting of delegates on the basis of the
Congressional representation of the respective Dis—
. tricts, except as above provided.

5130127. No distinction on account of sex shall
ever be made in the membership or in the selection
of oflicers of this Society. >

Sizer. S. No, money shall be paid by the Treasur-
er except under such restrictions as the Executive
Committee may provide.

SEC’J‘. 9. Five members ofthe Executive Commit-
tee shall constitute a quorum.

SECT. 10. The Chairman shall convene a meet-
ing~ of the. Executive Committee Whenever request-
ed to do so by three members of that Committee.

ARTICLE IV.

The Association shall have a branch ofliee in
every District or County, in connection with the of-
fice of the auxiliary Society therein, and shall have
a central oflice at such place as the Executive Com-
mittee may determine.

ARTICLE V.

This Constitution may be amended at any annual
meeting by a vote ofthree-lifths of the delegates pres-
ent therein.

ADDITIONAL CLAUSES.

Any person may become a member of the Ken—
tuck-y Woman Sul’li'age Association by signing the
Constitution and paying the sum of $1.00 annually,
or a life member by paying; the sum of $10, which
shall entitle such person to attend the business meet-
ings of delegates and participate in their delibera-
tions.
