Reverend talks on Catholic evangelists

Speaker emphasizes reaching out to l/.’(’ millions ofinaelive church members

More than 52 million Catholics in
the United States today are active in
their churches. but an atimated 15
million of them do not actively par-
ticipate in church functions. accord-
ing to Rev. Alvin A. Illig. C.S.P.. in
a speech to about 200 people at the
Newman Center Friday.

Telecommunications department ‘Career Day’
to focus on student career goals, job market

munications department wants to
help.

The department is sponsoring a
three-session “(‘areer Day” on Nor
