man, together with the papers therein referred to. Please pre—
serve these in your file.
You will note that hr. hoorman expressed the opinion
- that we are not responsible for the loss of Elaintiff‘s goods,
but inasmuch as we did not transport them from KcFoberts to
Hazard, plaintiff is entitled to a refund of the freight paid.
The freight payment, as I understand, amounted to $8.25. Please
see if settlement cannot be made on that basis.
