I enclose you herewith report of proceedings in case
of Howard Collins VS. Lexington & Eastern Railway Company in
Lee Quarterly Court, together with copy of petition which I ,
omitted to send with docket report.

The judgment in this case against us was for $60.00
and it is my intention to supersede the Judgment and take an
appeal to the Circuit Court within ten days from the rendition
of the judgment and too late for trial at the next term of
court, which begins November 10th. Under the circumstances I
think it best to pursue a Fabiﬁn policy.

Of course, I went to trial without a witness, but
will want the train men at the final trial and uelieve I can
then win the case.
