A series of films on supervi- sory skills began in August and will continue through next sum er. -2- Each luncheon session deals with a separate facet of supervision. For example, the September luncheon considered the area of communi- cation, presenting two films: "Instruction Or Obstruction" and "Listen Please". The luncheons are held on the third Wednesday of each month in Blazer Hall Cafeteria on Harrison Avenue from 11:30 - 1:00 p.m. After lunch, a film is viewed and a discussion session follows. Mary Ada Sullivan will retire July 1, 1976 as head of the Newspaper/ Microtext Department; and the Personnel Committee is beginning to search for someone who could fill this position. We hope to find someone by January l, 1976 so that there will be some overlap. Basically, the person needs to have an MLS from an accredited library school plus experience with microforms and the related equipment. Salary will be commensurate with experience. If anyone on the staff is interested in being considered for the position, please send me something in writing to that effect so that the Personnel ' Committee can consider internal candidates along with other applications.
