Minutes of the University Senate a January 10, 1938

recommendations, which reads "B. A Committee of the Senate
be appointed with power to consider, approve, modify, or
reject said proposal;" was amended to read "B. A

Committee of the Senate be appointed, with power to consider,
approve, modify, except with resnect to subject matter, or
reject such proposal.

 

 

 

 

The third of the recommendations, which originally read, “C. i
This Committee shall also make recommendations with a View to j
equalizing the percentage of profit made by the authors of

mimeographed tests, including those already in use" was amended

to read "Mimeographed material should be distributed on the

basis of cost."

 

 

 

 

 

After further discussion the Senate voted to refer the entire recommendation
respecting mimeographed texts to a Special committee of the Senate. In
formulating its report the Committee was asked to give consideration to the K'

M Senate discussion of the question.
