                  OF GERMANTOWN.


                          RULE 1.
  No person shall be allowed more than two volumes at one time.

                          RULE II.
  All books are to be returned within FOURTEEN DAYS from date of
delivery, under penalty of ONE CENT per day for all delay. The
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE may, by due notice affixed to the volume,
require new books to be returned within a shorter time.
                         RULE III.
  All)books retained two weeks beyond the time prescribed by these
Regulations shall be sent for, and the messenger's fee be charged.
                         RULE IV.
  Any book may be renewed once to the same person; but no more
than once, until it shall have remained in the Library TtHRlER DAYS.
                          RULE V.
  All injuries to books, beyond reasonable wear, and all losses, shall be
made good, to the satisfaction of the EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, by the
person to whom the book is charged. Any book not returned within
ONE WEEK after it has been sent for, shall be regarded as lost. If the
volume lost or injured forms part of a set, the whole set shall be replaced
by the person liable, he being entitled to the damaged set. Any member
refusing to make good the loss of a book shall be liable to have his name
stricken from the roll of members.
                         RULE VI.
 No person owing any FINE OR FORFEITURE shall receiv e books from
 the Library until the same is paid.
