7:30 P. M. Lodge opened in form or the MM Degree with
the above officers and 2h others present.

The minutes of December 27, 1972, January 5, 1973,
and January 13, 1973, were read and approved as read.

The petition for affiliation on Leon M. Gold, the
petition for initiation on Thomas Montgomery Hadden,
the petition for reinstatement on John Wesley Farley
and the request for waiver on Thurman Ralph Cooper
were presented. These petitions were received and
the committees appointed.

The petitions of James David Searcy, Douglas Glenn
Combs and Terry Edwin Aubrey were reported on from
committee and the ballot spread. The results of the
ballot was that all were elected to receive the
degrees of Masonry in this Lodge.

Notification was read that our members, James Orville
Tanner and Clarence Hardin are closing their dual
membership with Sirkle Lodge No. 95h.

Acknowledgement was read from the family of Francis
L. Allen and a note was read from the wife of Roy

J. Kyker stating that her husband has been ill and in
bed for two years. She asked if his Lodge members
knew of this illness.

‘degree with the above officers and 27 others present.

The minutes of January 15, 1973, and January 31, 1973
were read and approved as read.

The following petitions were presented:

for initiation, Tommy Gene Slone
for affiliation, William Elijah Davis
for reinstatement, William K. Alverson

these petitions were received and the committees
appointed.

The following petitions were reported on from committee
and the ballot spread:

for initiation, Darell Julian Moberly
for initiation, John Meteer Ginn
for initiation, David G. Milliken

The result of the ballot was that all were elected to
receive the degrees of Masonry in this Lodge.

Notice was read from the District Deputy, that his
official visit would be made on February 19, 1973.

Also read was a letter from our member in Florida,
Theodore R. Hamilton who is requesting admission to
the Old Masons Home in Shelbyville, Ky.

At that point, the Lodge considered the resolution

as contained in the application for the Homes. The
resolution was adopted and mentioned in these minutes
as prescribed. Brothers Otho Ward, Walter Johnston
and Orah Hamilton were named as investigators from
this Lodge.

Brother Cecil Sparks verbally tendered his resignation
as Junior Stewart due to up coming retirement and his
relocation to Florida.

The Master announced the appointment of Brother Joe E.
Holleran, Sr. to fill this vacancy.

Motion was also made and passed that a petty cash advance
be set up with the Junior Stewart in the purchase of
refreshments, so that this expense would be a replenishing
of the advance.

The Lodge approved the suggestion to have Brother Carroll
Eakle do the annual audit.

Reported on as sick or in distress was Brother Kyker,
Brother Shirley Morris, Brother Graham, and Brother

Frank Sparks, members of this Lodge. Also mentioned
was a Brother Porter Jones a member of Sirkle Lodge.

Visitors were asked to stand and be recognized, and these
were three from Ky. Lodges.

The Master then called the Craft to assemble about the
alter were Brother Otho Ward conducted the reobligation
cerimony.

The Lodge received the District Deputy Grand waster,
Brother Les Anderson, and extended to him public grand
honors.
