SOLINET QEMOMSTRATIOMS
The Solinet Processing Unit will give terminal demonstrations for all
interested library staff members during the week of June 16-20. The
schedule below lists dates and times for each department and two
general sessions for branch libraries. Branch library staff members
may choose to attend either demonstration at their convenience. Two
times have also been listed for public service areas so that coverage
may be maintained and all staff will have an opportunity to attend
a demonstration.
The Solinet staff will attempt to emphasize facets of the system of
particular interest to each individual group.

The response to the survey about the staff organization picnic was
very poor. Out of approximately 150 staff members we had only 27
replies. There were 25 people who said they would attend a picnic
and 2 that said they would not. Based on the response the officers
of the staff organization have decided that there was not sufficient
interest. If you have any comments about the picnic please contact
one of the officiers of the staff organization or Jean Robinson the
social secretary. The officers are Harry Gilbert, President, Jean
Graef, vice-president, Margaret Williams, Treasurer, and Toni Powell,
Secretary. Your comments will be most welcome. Functions of the
staff organization are for the entire library staff. You do not
have to be a dues paying member of the organization to attend
activities or make suggestions.
