Collection Overview
- Biography / History
- Quake zine, developed by Mark Griffin and his friends "Mute Boy" and "Elle Aye," in 1995, was first entitled Chainsaw Enema. Within a short time the zine name was changed to Quake. The zine continued to be in print and distributed for more than twenty-five years. Mark Griffin is an author, historian, and librarian from Russellville, Kentucky.
- Scope and Content
- The Quake zine collection (dated 2002-2014; 0.23 cubic feet; 1 box, 108 issues) is a partial collection of the self-published works by Mark Griffin, of Russellville, Kentucky. The zine includes photography, art, collage, short stories, poems, and regional historical notes. Each issue is about four pages long.
