»United Way - Librany Exceeds Goal
:n§ Y The Library has again exceeded the University‘s goal of 7.5% increase
for the United Way. Our present amount is 10% over last year; a total of
$3,500. V
- This is very commendable when you realize we had a whopping 30%
increase last year. We were also able to increase the number of donors
, by 10% this year.
I am very proud of the Library Staff for giving so well to a good
` cause. Special thanks go to the solicitors for the work they have done.
They are: Terry Birdwhistell, Phil Dare, Evelyn Evans, Brad Grissom,
*‘ Vivian Hall, Mildred Moore, Lynn Shrewsbury, Janet Sutherland, Ruth
_‘ Vaughan, and Frances Williams.
54. The Library Staff Appreciation reception was held on Wednesday,
g` November 12 at 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. in the Staff lounge, King North.
