At a call meeting of the Executive Committee of

the University of Kentucky held at The President's office

Friday, June 30, 1916, there were present Messrs. C. B.

Nichols, R. C. Stoll, Frank McKee, P. P. Johbrstom Jr.,

C. B. Terrell and J. E. Brown.

          Upon motion made, seconded and carried on yea and

nea vote, a sum nit%; to exceed $1000.00 is appropriated to

meet the necessary expense in connection with the celebra-

tion of the 50th Anniversary of the organization of this

University, which anniversary will be held on the 14th day

of October, 1916.

          Upon the recommendation of President Barker, it

is unanirmously voted that Mr.   Cover be elected musical

director of the University for the fiscal year 1916-17.

          On motion made, seconded and unanimously carried,

the election of Mr. J. E, Johnson as Y. P. C. A. Secretary

is approved.

          Upon motion made and carried the question as to

the election of Business Agent was postponed until the next

regular meeting.

          The Committee then adjourned.
