Dear Sir:
Our records show that there are some orders still unfilled
upon which shipments were delayed due to the recent embargo, that is,
the embargo of January 27th and 29th. de would like to have these
particular orders given preference until they are completed as we feel
they should really have shipments just as quickly as possible.
Of course, it will he necessary that you continue to hold
the orders entered in January which I believe amounts to Z4 cars, which
call for shipment West of the Indiana-Illinois State Line, as the
embargo on these orders is still in effect.

When speaking to you on the phone January EO, it was our
understanding that on that date you had 7 cars .T block and Z cars
of egg loaded in IHCX equipment, and you were to obtain disposition
for this coal from Mr. Snow of our Cincinnati Offices We now find
there were no shipments of block or egg for our account on January EO,
and we’re wondering as to the reason. ‘;· {ill you please advise.
Also I note that on the 5lst$ there were only 6 cars of
block and 3 cars of egg shipped on our orderi whereas it was our
understanding that we were to receive lO cars of block and 5 cars of

We have been sending you quite a few orders showing
"SFAW Directive" and also have sent you a number of orders upon which
this notation does not appeart The orders that are entered without
"SFAW Directive", are the orders entered for our regular customers,
and these orders should receive preference in shipment over the orders
marked "SFAW Directive."
This, of course, applies only to the Block as we do
not have any miscellaneous orders for the Egg size and all of the
shipments of Egg will naturally be applied on the "SFAW Directive"
‘ orders. Your shipments of the Block on the "SFAW Directive" orders,
should be made whenever coal is available.
