GENERAL OUTSIDE INSPECTION BY C. L. GRIGGS AND L. J. ELLIOTT:
The Committee visited railroad car repair shop, bathhouse,
filtration plant, machine shop, shop garage, shop bath-
house, supply house, store, market and all other public
and operating buildings which were found in good condi-
tion.
Eound eaves trough on north side of clear water storage
basin in need of repairs.
Several garbage cans about town were full and running
over.
The general condition of the town was good except for
garbage cans.

The Committee visited grade work in South Main Butt entries
where they found all men working safely.
Visited slate dump and found it in good condition.

PLANT INSPECTION COMMITTEE REPORT
May ll, 1937 .
NO. l MINE INSPECTION BY J. C. BALLARD AND C.W. PATTERSON:
Visited Slate Crew on No. l South Main grade work, Main
Line Track Crew at Slate Dump, Slate Tipple Crew and two
drill crews on Section 9 B-seam grade work. All men were
found working safely and the drill crews using water in
the drilling operation.
Visited five loaders, Track, Timber and Haulage Crews on
8th left butt, right and left side, Section 7.
Visited tipple and mine car repair shop and found all men
working safely.
No excessive amount of coal found in Slate Dump.
GENERAL OUTSIDE INSPECTION BY N. H. SALYER AND J. F. PHILLIPS:
Visited all public buildings and operating depar ments
and found them in good condition.
The Committee recommends that the ”No Trespassing Sign"
at the Supply Entrance drift mouth be securely nailed to
post - broken loose.
Garbage dump visited and found in good condition.
General condition of the town very good.

The outside committee visited the w.S.W.X
car shop, bath house, filtering plant, colored
school, Trent's boarding house, garage, machine
shop, supply house, carpenter shop, white school,
hotel, club house, theatre, Mountain View Hotel,
store, market and Uoctor's Uffice and found them
all in good condition.
The general condition of the town was good
and the garbage dump was in good condition.

GENERAL OUTsIDE INSPECTIQ§_BY H.G. STUEELEFIELD AND TOM SIPHERS:
The Committee visited machine shop, shop garage, new sand
bin, planing mill, rock crusher, coal bin, paint shop,
white school, club house, bathhouse, filtration plant,
WSWX Car Repair Shop and all other public buildings and
found them in good condition.
The garbage dump was visited and found in good condition. r
The general condition of the town was good.
NO. l MINE INSPECTION ET N. H. BOATRIGHT AND V. L. QTQRCILL:
The Committee visited grade work on No. l south Main Butt
Entry and found conditions good.
Coal loaders, machinemen, motonnen and daymen visited in
South Main Butt Entries, section ll and all were found
working safely under bad working conditions.
No coal of particular notice found in the slate dump.
Track on left hand of slate dump needs to be raised about
two rail lengths back from end of dump. This track should
be kept on an up—grade at all tunes.
Visited fan, sand house, upper tipple and car repair shop
and found them in good condition.
