Visited Hain Line Track Crew below Upper Tipple - men working safely.
Visited two bratticemen in Section ll at lst. right face over—cast.
These men were working safely.
Visited working places in lst. left face - Section ll - found same to
be well timbered and in fair condition.
Visited six men taking bottom in lst. and 2nd. right butts off 6th.
right face in Section 10. These men were working safely.
On No. 2 Main - Section 10 - near #27 cross·cut there was about one
car of slate on walkway.
On No. 2 Main at mouth of Section 9 (going to fan) there was about
one—half car of slate on walkway.
Inspection made of Slate Tipple - No unusual amount of coal noticed
in the slate.

GENERAL OUTSIDE INSPECTION BY OTIS HELTON AND H RBERT JACKSON:
The following are the conditions found on inspection on the above date:
Culvert near House No. 400 partly stopped up.
Two bad boards found in swinging bridge, also side wire down. This
bridge is in Lower Benham. ‘
Poor roof on Hose House No. 40.
Hydrant in pasture near House No. 567 not in condition to be used.
Ditch line stopped up at House No. 292 and water has damaged road.
Culvert under road at House No. 298 stopped up.
Bad piece of rug on Floor of Receiving Clerk's Office in Store.
leak in roof of hay room at Store.
Window pane broken in west end of White Bath House.
General condition of White School is very bad. Water leak in
furnace room should be taken care of.
No. 1 MINE INSPECTION BY ARTHqR_KILGORE AND A. J. FAWBUSH:
Visited Upper Tipple, Mine Car Repair Shop and Outside Buildings,
also Slate Dump. Found all men working safe and buildings in good
shape, except the Slate Dump Tool House which had all window panes
g broken out.
Visited F Motor Run in lst. Right Face in Section 9. There were
sixteen coal loaders, two trackmen, machine crew and motor crew.
All men were working safely and no unusual dangers were noted.
No coal was found in the Slate Dump.
Visited Main Line Track Crew which was working on Slate Tipple tracks.
These men were working safely.
