     At a call1 meeting of the Executive Conmmittee of State

 University of Kentucky held at the office of the "resident

 March 20, 1913, there were present,,C. B. Nichols, C. B.

 Terrell, and Hywel Davies; absent, C. M. Clay and R. C. Stoll.

     Upon motion made and seconded and by unamious vote, yeas

 and nays being called, $75.00 was appropriated as prizes to

 be given to the Military Companies, as has been heretofore

 done in this Institution*

      A motion made and seconded and unamiously carried upon

yea and nayvote,$77.O00 was ap ropriated for the benefit of

the Carnegie Library on account of the sale of some books from

the Library at that price, made by the Library Committee and

Which funds had been covered into the University Funds.

   A motion made and seconded unamiously carried, upon Yea

and N-ay vote, the following resolution was adopted:

Resolved: That the fees and charges against students as

heretofore adopted for the present school year and published

in the catalogue, be now modified to the following extent.

   That the provision providing for an incidental fee of 41lO.O0

against each student who is a non-app)ointee, and out of which

reilroad fee is paid for students of that class, be stricken

out, and the following be inserted as applicable to all students.

    each student who matriculates in this university will be

required to make a deposit of 4l10.00, out of which  6soo may

be taken in payment fo a card which will entitle the holder

to the following privil3eges tree of charge for the year.

    Admission to all public Lectures given under the auspices

of the Public Lecture Bureau.

    To medical advise from the University Physician.

To use of the University 11oppTital,




 








       To admission to all athletic contests and exercises

given unddr the auspices of the Athletic Association.

      Whatever remains, less damages, will be returned to the

student at the end of the year.

      A fee of 41.00 will be charged each student entering

after the regular registration period. 20 days after the

beginning of the fall term a fee of $2.00 will be charged for

transfer from one college to another. After the samne time

a fee of 500 will be required for any other alteration in the

course of study, except in the case of the dropping of a

subject upon the advice of the Dean. This same charge will

also be made 5 days after the opening of the second and third

terms.

      Motion made and seconded and un.naiously carried

Professor Joseph Morton Davis was made full Professor*

Charles Preston Weaver was made as Associate Professor.   The

salaries of each of these men together with Professor Edward

Farquhar will increase 4l100900 each year, abovepredent salary,

until the maximum salury is reached in their respective

classes.
