Library Book Sale
The Library has been granted permission to conduct a sale of surplus
books. The following staff members have been appointed to a Library
Book Sale Task Force:

The sale has been tentatively scheduled for Friday and Saturday,
April 27-28, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm on the Student Center Patio. The
"surplus declaration" limits us to 3,000 items maximum for sale and
the maximum price cannot exceed $5.00.

Vaughan.

Exhibits
M. I. King Library occasionally offers space to local artists for U
exhibition of their works. Recently, an information sheet and a
standard exhibition agreement for artists were drafted as a first
step in publicizing and formalizing the granting of exhibit space.
Pursuant to the above, a Library Arts Review Committee is to be
established to consider requests for and allocate exhibit space in
the Library. {
Any member of the Library staff interested in serving on the Review
Committee should inform Pat Lloyd in the Director's Office by
February 5.
Russian for Librarians
The organizational meeting will be held February 1, 1979 in AIDS/
Media at 1:00 pm. If you have not signed up yet, please do so before
the meeting. Those who signed up for the first session need to sign
up again if still interested. Call Barbara Galik (7-1631).
LEADERSHIP SKILLS IN SLIEERVISQRY IIIAINAGEIIIENI
The Training & Development Department of the University Personnel
Division has tailored a course designed by the American Management
Association to the needs of UK supervisors. The course will be
presented in five, 4-hour sessions and will be held in Room 15 of
Memorial Hall. Dates of the course, requirements for the course,
etc. is available in the Director's Office.
