Please note the attached memorandum from Chief
Engineer Zimmerman concerning the barbwire
along the walk to the Church.
I suggest the wire not only along the walk to
the church but along the main walk as well be
placed on the opposite side of the hedge, and
I would like to see this work done as quickly
as possible.

On further review, it seems reasonable to have
door closures placed on the front and rear en-
trance doors of the church, and you may proceed
with the installation.
Let me know when it has been finished.

The Community Church Official Board voted to proceed with
the painting of the interior of the church, with the ex-
ception of the basement rooms and the two rooms used by
Mrs. Gibson for the kindergarten.
This decision was made subject to the Company's furnish-
ing the paint and varnish and obtaining William Bailey to
do the cleaning and painting per his verbal bid of $375
($75 of this amount is for scaffolding and miscellaneous
supplies).
On the afternoon of February h, I talked to William Bailey
and he agreed to accept the job for $375 and would begin
painting Wednesday or Thursday of this week. Therefore,
I have agreed for the Company that it will furnish the
paint. On behalf of the Company, please see that Bailey
gets the necessary paint and that an acceptable job is
done.
The painting is to be so scheduled that it does not in—
terfere with the Sunday services. Feel free to direct
and assist Bailey when you feel it is needed.

At the meeting of the Community Church Board of Stewards
yesterday, the question arose concerning certain repair
work in the downstairs Sunday School rooms.
To avoid any misunderstanding, the following will be done
by Inland:
l) Repair of plaster damaged by moisture seepage
through walls
2) Repair of all weak or rotted floors
3) Repair or replacement of the window at the foot
of the stairway
Inland will lend its floor sander to sand the floors pro-
viding a qualified person is to operate it. In the past
it has been the practice not to lend this sander to anyone
other than Stanley Logan.
Any refinements desired over and above the normal repair
work listed above will be the respomibility of the Church
Board or members of the congregation.
