The John V. Upington and Brothers Carriage Company was located on East Short Street in Lexington, Kentucky, in the 1800s.
Scope and Content
The John V. Upington and Brothers Carriage Company records consist of two cash books and a letter book dating from 1872-1891. The cash books contain the financial records for the Carriage Company. The cash book from 1872-1879 includes a business card for the Akron Hardware & Stamping Company. The letter book records company business transactions, such as orders, supply lists, and receipts.
