Dear Fred:
You have never failed me and on this occasion of G.W.'s
memorial service, I thought you reached the real heights.
Everybody spoke most kindly of your address and I want you
to know how much I appreciate your coming on here to take
part in the memorial. I am sure if we could get a message
to G.W., he would be really pleased about it - it was just the
sort of talk he would like anyone to make.
Wishing you the best kind of luck in your job which I under-
stand you are doing so splendidly, with my love to Edith and
