Thy dear Fred:
The news in the paper this morning that you had been elected
President of the american xenical association was most gratifying
to me and I am sure to all the rest of your friends. I am very
_ proud of my doctor friends who have attained such distinction
and it is most unusual for Kentucky to have two Presidents of
the American Medical Association within four years. It shows
how much they think of our men down here.
`7 V I am writing this tp congratulate you most sincerely on this
/ very great honor and I am sure you will fill this high office
f with honor to yourself and credit to the Association.
U . Sincerely yours.
