    The Board of Trustees met in their office Sept. 27th,
1890.

                             R. J. Spurr
                             Dr. Clardy
                             P. P. Johnston
                             Phil. Bird
                             Judge Ireland
                             R. A. Spurr
                             W. D. Nicholas
                             Hart Gibson



     The object of the meeting was the consideration of
the Morrill  Bill        1890 making a further appropriation
to the A. & M. College. After much discussion & interchange
of opinion the Board adjourned Sine die without coming to
any conclusion.

     The Board of Trustees met at the Phoenix Hotel June
2, 1891.

Present                  Judge W. B. Kinkead
                         Gen. D. C. Buell
                         Dr. R. J. Spurr
                         Capt. W. D. Nicholas
                         Philemon Bird
                         Hart Gibson



     Dr. Clardy & Mr. Bird were appointed a Committee on the
Report of the Treasurer & Business Agent. The Report of
the Vice President was referred to a Committee consisting
of Gen. Buell, Dr. Spurr & Hart Gibson.



     The following resolution was adopted upon motion of
Mr. Gibson " That a Veterinary Dept. be established in
the A. & M. College."
